(Séance 6)
GETTING TO KNOW YOUR HUMAN RIGHTS
DOC 2 : The Universal Declaration of Human Rights
DOC 3 : The Human Rights STREET POSTER
( EO / CE)
Today I welcomed you back in class with ClassDojo !
Last lesson , we played " Human Rights BINGO" by matching up the numbers of the UDHR Article to the corresponding pictures, until you had a 'full house'. You were then introduced to DOC 3 : The Human Rights STREET POSTER and to the next Reading Task to be completed with your team.
After a brief recap today , you were split into Teams of 4 to take up the next reading challenge. Throughout this activity, you investigated a street scene and you tried to understand how rights apply to everyday life. You were expected to find as many Human Rights as possible in the different scenes and decide whether these rights were being enjoyed, demanded or denied. I had you fill in a chart to help you speak from your notes . This work was completed with your team mates.
It was a good opportunity to correct today's and share your findings with your team mates.
