THE SCHOOL VOICEMAIL HAS GONE CRAZY!

Last lesson you learnt how to improve your pronunciaiton skill

through a series of  listening TAKS.   

First things first today , we corrected  your homework

I collected your  WRITTEN  TASK  as well .

Imagine this phone message was not a hoax.  What reasons could lead A

school like the Maroochydore High school  Staff to vote unanimously for such a

message to be recorded on their school telephone answering machine.

Find 3 arguments to support your views.

Then I assessed your  ORAL WORK   (EOI). Some of you volunteered to

act out the phone conversation  with a staff member.

ORAL TASK :   (ROLE PLAY) Imagine you are one of the parents

calling Maroochydore High School.

You have reached the school voicemail and made your selection.

Imagine the conversation with the staff member.

We had fun listening to you guys! You did a good job!

You deserved a big round of applause!

The Lycee Albert Camus voicemail is full of messages from unhappy

parents who desperately try to get hold of staff members. You are an

unhappy parent  (mother/father). You have reached the Lycee Albert Camus

voicemail to leave a message for a staff member. Record your voice message

after the beep!

Here's the situation :  teachers at Lycee Camus are too busy "raising your

children" to spend time chatting on the  phone with  "unhappy parents".

A message may be left anytime. If there is no answer, please leave a message

on the voicemail. Please don't forget to spell your child's name and indicate

grade and the reason for  your call. Teachers may be available to return phonecalls

before or after school.
