After a brief  recap of the  key informaiton,

we continued studying the Report   you had

been introduced to last  lesson ,  entitled :

Tijuana : Where the American Dream ends.

We first corrected the CLOZE TEST you had been assigned

for today's class . You were expected to watch the Report

and fill in the blanks with the help of the notes  previously

collected during class.

Here's the whole  News report .

Then  I had you  complete a WORDEARCH with the help of

the script to build up your vocabulary.

We developed some strategies to help you become a

good listener. 

You  learnt how to make your note-taking more effective

and build meaning of the recording.

Finally we did some pronunciation practice . We focused on

phonetic stress  in  two, three, four - syllable adjectives.

HW:

- Revoir vos notes et mémoriser le vocabulaire.

- Préparer votre ROLE PLAY / vous serez évalués sur

votre  connaissance des informations  contenues dans le

reportage. Ce qui suppose une prise en compte  de la situation

personnelle des clandestins / sentiments / d'une bonne

maîtrise du vocabulaire etc.... 

En ce qui concerne les questions  du journaliste , elles devront être

élaborées en fonction des informations  clé du reportage.
