Last lesson you were introduced to  a very special federal holiday in the United States. 

You had class in the computer room  and  you were expected to  read an article and  take a virtual tour  to  explore the  first harvest celebration and learn about the Pilgrims  and the First Thanksgiving.

You learnt about the origins of  THANKSGIVING in the USA.

I had you  collect information (notes : Who ? When? Where? Why? How? ) about the first settlers ' arrival in America and the First Thanksgiving.

So first things first today, I had you share your findings and

we tried to answer  some key  questions about the first immigrants:

-  Who were they ? What were they called and why ?

- Where did they come from ? When did they leave?

- Why did they emigrate ?

- What is Plymouth Rock ?

Then  in order to thank you for your hard work , you were asked to  use the information collected in class to fill in a Thanksgiving Crossword  Puzzle with your teammates.

You  may have a hard time, but what a fun way to memorize useful vocabulary

and historical information !
